Nakamura Stainless, located in Pulau Ujong, Singapore, is a reputable maker and supplier of premium stainless steel products, including stainless steel 348H tubing. Known for its high-temperature strength, stability, and resistance to intergranular corrosion, 348H tubing is perfect for applications that involve long exposure to high temperatures. Nakamura Stainless maintains strict quality control and precision manufacturing, making their 348H tubing a reliable option for industries such as aerospace, chemical processing, power generation, and heat treatment systems. These tubes deliver consistent performance and dependability in critical settings where thermal resistance and mechanical integrity are crucial.
Stainless steel 348H tubing is an austenitic stainless steel alloy containing about 17 to 19% chromium, 9 to 13% nickel, and stabilizing elements like columbium (niobium) and tantalum. It has a higher carbon content than standard 348 to boost high-temperature strength. This composition improves its resistance to sensitization and intergranular corrosion, especially after welding. Mechanically, it provides a tensile strength of about 550 to 750 megapascals and maintains its strength and structure at temperatures over 800°C. The stabilizers prevent carbide precipitation, making it suitable for continuous high-temperature use.
