Nakamura Stainless, located in Pulau Ujong, Singapore, is a well-regarded maker and supplier of high-quality stainless steel products, including stainless steel 316Ti forged fittings. These fittings are designed for applications that need great corrosion resistance, especially in high-temperature settings. Stainless steel 316Ti is a titanium-stabilized version of 316 that provides better resistance to intergranular corrosion after welding or exposure to high temperatures. Nakamura Stainless makes these fittings with care and follows strict quality standards to ensure reliable performance in important industries like chemical processing, marine, and power generation.
Stainless steel 316Ti forged fittings contain 16-18% chromium, 10-14% nickel, 2-3% molybdenum, and a small amount of titanium. This small amount of titanium stabilizes the alloy and stops carbide precipitation during welding. These fittings usually have tensile strength between 500 and 750 megapascals and maintain strong mechanical properties at temperatures up to 870°C. The molybdenum improves resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, while the titanium boosts high-temperature stability and weldability.
