Stainless Steel 410 Stud Bolts come from a martensitic stainless steel alloy that has around 11.5–13.5% chromium and up to 0.15% carbon. This mixture allows for heat treatment, resulting in high strength and hardness. Mechanically, SS 410 provides tensile strength between 650–850 MPa and yield strength of about 450 MPa. It also offers good wear resistance and moderate corrosion resistance in non-aggressive environments. While it does not resist corrosion as well as austenitic grades, SS 410 works well in situations where mechanical strength and thermal stability matter more than chemical resistance.
