Nakamura Stainless in Pulau Ujong, Singapore, offers AWS Class ER320LR MIG and TIG Filler Wires and Rods, designed for welding high-alloy stainless steels. The “LR” grade means it has low residual elements, which reduces the risk of hot cracking and improves weld quality. These consumables offer excellent corrosion resistance in both oxidizing and reducing environments, making them suitable for tough chemical processing conditions. With smooth arc performance and a consistent bead appearance, they are trusted in industries where long-term strength and reliability are important. Nakamura Stainless ensures high quality, meeting international welding standards for vital applications.
AWS Class ER320LR contains 18–20% chromium, 32–36% nickel, and 2–3% molybdenum, along with trace amounts of manganese, niobium, and silicon. The “LR” grade reduces residuals like carbon and phosphorus, enhancing resistance to hot cracking and intergranular attack. Weld deposits typically provide tensile strength around 550 MPa and elongation of 30–35%, ensuring good ductility and toughness. They show outstanding resistance to aggressive chemical corrosion, including nitric and sulfuric acid. These features make them trustworthy for making components used in extreme service environments.
