AWS Class ER309LSi contains 22–24% chromium, 12–14% nickel, and 0.8–1.2% silicon, with low carbon at ≤0.03%. Weld deposits achieve tensile strength around 600 MPa and elongation of 30–35%. They offer excellent corrosion resistance and toughness, especially for cladding and welding different metals. Their consistent arc performance and strong properties ensure reliable, smooth welds for joining stainless and carbon steels in demanding conditions.
