Nakamura Stainless in Pulau Ujong, Singapore, provides AWS Class E347-16 Electrodes, designed for welding stabilized austenitic stainless steels. These electrodes include niobium, which helps prevent intergranular corrosion and carbide precipitation during welding. They feature stable arc performance, smooth weld bead finishes, and reliable slag removal, making them easy to work with in fabrication. Nakamura Stainless strictly follows global quality standards, offering welding solutions that meet the needs of critical industries. With a balance of strength, toughness, and corrosion resistance, E347-16 Electrodes are trusted in chemical, food processing, and marine sectors.
AWS Class E347-16 Electrodes contain 18-20% chromium, 9-11% nickel, and controlled amounts of niobium (8-10 times the carbon content). Their low carbon and niobium stabilization help prevent carbide precipitation and ensure resistance to intergranular corrosion. They exhibit a tensile strength of about 580 MPa and elongation of 30-35%. The weld deposits offer outstanding toughness and resistance to high-temperature oxidation. With reliable ductility and stability, these electrodes are effective for maintaining structural integrity in harsh conditions, especially where exposure to corrosive media or elevated temperatures is likely.

These electrodes offer exceptional corrosion resistance, particularly against intergranular corrosion. Typically available in diameters of 1/16″ to 1/8″ (1.6 mm to 3.2 mm), they provide a lighter coating, facilitating easier welding with smooth, clean welds and minimal spatter.
Known for high corrosion resistance, especially in harsh environments, these electrodes come in diameters of 1/8″ to 5/32″ (3.2 mm to 4.0 mm). The heavy coating enhances arc stability and provides a thicker slag layer, offering better protection and ease of removal for cleaner welds.
These electrodes deliver superior corrosion resistance and are ideal for high-temperature applications. Typically available in diameters of 3/32″ to 1/8″ (2.4 mm to 3.2 mm), they are designed for shielded arc welding, ensuring stable arcs and good weld integrity in challenging conditions.
We guarantee complete transparency and top-notch quality assurance for our AWS Class E347-16 Electrodes. All orders are accompanied by necessary documents such as a commercial invoice, packing list, fumigation certificate, heat treatment chart, and an NABL-approved lab test report. We also provide a Material Test Certificate as per EN 10204/3.1b, PMI Test Certificate, 100% radiography test report, and Third-Party Inspection Certificate. Our documentation is very well arranged to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction.
AWS Class E347-16 Electrodes are often used in industries where welded structures need to resist intergranular corrosion and high temperatures. They are ideal for welding stainless steel tanks, pipes, and equipment in chemical processing, food and beverage, and pharmaceutical industries. Their stability at high temperatures makes them suitable for heat exchangers, boiler parts, and furnace components. Additionally, they are employed in marine environments for creating corrosion-resistant parts. These electrodes ensure reliable performance in applications that require both strength and corrosion resistance.
