Nakamura Stainless, a well-known stainless steel manufacturer and supplier in Pulau Ujong, Singapore, offers AWS Class E630-16 Electrodes designed for welding precipitation-hardened stainless steels. These electrodes are made to provide high strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and durability in severe conditions. Known for smooth arc stability and easy slag removal, they are trusted for critical applications. Nakamura Stainless ensures each electrode meets global quality standards, supporting industries that need precision and reliability. Their commitment to effective welding solutions makes E630-16 Electrodes a dependable choice for power generation, aerospace, and petrochemical sectors.
AWS Class E630-16 Electrodes contain 15-17% chromium, 4-6% nickel, 3-5% copper, and 0.15-0.45% niobium, with iron as the main element. This unique makeup allows for precipitation hardening, resulting in weld deposits with outstanding mechanical strength. They have a tensile strength of around 860 MPa and elongation of 20-25%. The microstructure provides toughness, corrosion resistance, and wear resistance, making them fit for high-stress situations. With post-weld heat treatment, further improvements in hardness and ductility can be achieved, ensuring reliable performance under demanding service conditions.
