Nakamura Stainless, a leading supplier in Pulau Ujong, Singapore, provides AWS Class E308/308H-16 Electrodes designed for welding austenitic stainless steels. The “H” grade includes higher carbon content, which ensures better creep resistance under high temperatures. These electrodes are known for their excellent weldability, stable arc performance, and resistance to corrosion, making them suitable for various applications. Made under strict quality controls, Nakamura Stainless ensures every electrode meets global standards. E308/308H-16 Electrodes are often chosen in industries that require strong, corrosion-resistant welds like chemical processing, food, and marine sectors, where reliability is essential.
AWS Class E308/308H-16 Electrodes contain 18–21% chromium and 9–11% nickel. The “H” grade has a higher carbon content (0.04–0.08%), which improves creep strength for high-temperature applications. Weld deposits provide a tensile strength of about 550–600 MPa and elongation of 30–35%. They show good resistance to oxidation and corrosion in moderate chemical environments. These electrodes also exhibit excellent toughness and ductility, making them suitable for applications where strength and thermal resistance are important. Their composition ensures reliable welds for austenitic stainless steel components.
